Building Confident Learners Through a Whole-Child Approach

With over 20 years of experience in education, I bring a deep understanding of both academic instruction and the behavioral supports students need to truly succeed. I am ESE certified and have served as a Dean of Students, ESE teacher, and general education teacher across grades K–5 in both Lee County and Collier County School Districts.
Half of my career has been dedicated to supporting students with differentiated needs and barriers to learning. This experience has shaped my ability to meet each child where they are, providing individualized support that builds both skill and confidence.
My approach goes beyond traditional tutoring. I specialize in a whole-child coaching model that supports not only reading, writing, and math development, but also the behaviors, routines, and executive functioning skills that directly impact success in school and in everyday life.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with students, families, and educators to create meaningful, lasting progress. I understand that when a child struggles, it affects the entire family. That is why each session includes built-in parent coaching, ensuring strategies carry over into the home and become part of your child’s daily success.
I believe every child is capable of growth with the right support, structure, and encouragement. My goal is to help students build confidence, develop independence, and experience success in a way that is both achievable and sustainable.
